For anyone interested in building relationships and establishing a base of helpful, encouraging leadership, I would urge them to either view the Video, "The Art of Possibility," or read the book by the same name. Rosamund and Benjamin Zander are the authors, and they provide a wealth of practical possibilities for bringing out the best in yourself and others.

My favorite tip is Rule #6 - Lighten up - just don't take yourself too seriously!

The music alone is worth the investment of time with the video, and most AEA's have a copy you can borrow. As a Drake Assistant Professor I always used it in my beginning leadership class for aspiring principals, but it is appropriate for any group of caring individuals.
