  • Doctoral Degrees at Drake: 

    The School of Education at Drake University offers three doctoral degrees designed to meet your professional goals. The two EdD degrees are intended for those whose interest is in the application of theory and research to affect educational practice. The PhD degree is intended for those whose interest is in becoming a research scholar in their professional field.

  • The International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership [formerly the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration ] is committed to the practice and study of educational administration. Established in 1947 (as the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration), the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership (ICPEL) continues its commitment to serve the interests and needs of professors of educational administration and practicing school leaders.
  • Iowa Association of Colleges for Teacher Education:  IACTE provides leadership on issues related to professional education, with primary focus on teacher education and promotes effective public policy regarding professional education, enhances and improves professional education programs at member institutions, and enhances the professional effectiveness of members.
  • The Science of Learning is intended to serve as a resource to teacher-educators, new teachers, and anyone in the educations profession who is interested in our best scientific understanding of how learning takes place.
