Instructional Supports - Classroom Libraries

Does anyone have a protocol to assure consistency in classroom libraries? Are they up to each individual teacher? Does the district have guidelines? Does district financially support each classroom library?

Re: Formative Assessments

Formative assessments - both "formal" and "informal" are so important to enable teachers to adjust their own instruction. They are important for kids, too, as the formative assessments allow them to see where they are with the learning expectations.

Re: TLC - Professional Development of TLC Leaders

We are learners here at BC.

We have participated in the New Teacher Center and Knight Training with GWAEA. We've also learned with Pete Hall and Elena Aguilar in the summer of 2015 in Jefferson, Iowa and ate at a great place "209 Main" in Paton, Iow…

Becky, I think it would be good for anyone, although I would recommend the curriculum leads review it and determine if appropriate for the educators in their district.
