Iowa ASCD is partnering with NIET (National Institute for Excellence in Teaching) to provide a one day workshop.
Deep Dive: Standards and Objectives Plus Activities and Materials
January 25, 2022; Virtual Delivery
In this one-day training, participants will deepen their understanding of the interconnectedness of the NIET Instructional Framework indicators, with a focus on Standards and Objectives as well as Activities and Materials.

By clearly understanding the connection between standards and objectives and your instructional framework, students will progress with problem solving skills and staff will strengthen their practice using a common language around collaboration and best instructional practices.

Participants will:
  • Deepen their understanding of interconnectedness of Instructional Framework indicators and standards and objectives.
Who should attend: Bring a team!
  • Even if you are not using the NIET Instructional Framework, you can incite a team to learn more about Presenting Instructional Content.
  • Consider your superintendent, administrators, principal, TLC leads, instructional coaches, and teacher leaders and for this learning opportunity.
