Building Instructional Excellence Through the Learning Walk Process

In this session, participants will experience how learning walks provide evidence of student learning levels. Participants will analyze and plan for alignment of standards and objectives, student work, and assessment, leaving with a deeper understanding of the link between each and the implications for planning and instruction.

Participants will:

  • Engage in a learning walk process to build a shared vision of instructional excellence.
  • Using data gathered during the learning walk process, define aligned supports for students, teachers, and leaders.
  • Experience how learning walks provide evidence of student learning levels.
  • Create a plan to practice and implement the learning walk process for the 2024-2025 school year.
