Building Instructional Excellence Through the Learning Walk Process

In this session, participants will experience how learning walks provide evidence of student learning levels. Participants will analyze and plan for alignment of standards and objectives, student work, and assessment, leaving with a deeper understanding of the link between each and the implications for planning and instruction.

Participants will:

• Engage in a learning walk process to build a shared vision of instructional excellence.
• Using data gathered during the learning walk process, define aligned supports for students, teachers, and leaders.
• Experience how learning walks provide evidence of student learning levels.
• Create a plan to practice and implement the learning walk process for the 2024-2025 school year.

Collaborative Coaching Partnerships to Build Collective Efficacy and Facilitate Growth in Others
In this session, participants will examine how to promote, design, and facilitate job-embedded professional learning aligned with group and individual needs. They will develop coaching skils to differentiate support through ereflective practices and build relatinships that impact instruction and enhance student learning.
Participants will:                   

• Know how to design, facilitate, and monitor implementation of job-embedded professional learning aligned to school improvement goals.
• Understand how to facilitate high quality adult learning through professional learning opportunities and coaching.
• Be able to coach peers using the effective instructional cycle, promoting teacher reflection in order to achieve growth.
• Build a coaching plan for 2024-2024.
